Beautiful planting is about more than simply choosing plants you love — it’s about creating a scheme that truly belongs in your garden.

If you’d like expert guidance with your borders but don’t require a full garden design, this focused planting service offers a considered and tailored approach.

I begin with a detailed soil analysis and a thorough assessment of your garden’s environmental conditions — including aspect, light, and microclimate. We’ll also explore your preferred style, colour palette, and the atmosphere you’d like to create.

Using this information, I’ll design a cohesive planting scheme that balances structure, texture, and seasonal interest. You’ll receive a comprehensive planting plan, thoughtfully curated plant selections, and a mood board to beautifully illustrate the overall vision.

This service is charged per square metre.

Plant sourcing and professional planting can be arranged as an additional service.

Full Design Package

1. Consultation
We begin with a meeting in your garden to discuss your ideas, how you’d like to use the space, and what you hope to achieve.

2. Site Analysis & Design Brief
I carry out a detailed assessment of the garden, considering aspect, levels, soil, and surroundings. From this, ideas are developed and shaped into a clear design brief that guides the project.

3. Concept Design & Mood Board
You’ll receive initial design drawings alongside a carefully curated mood board, illustrating the proposed materials, finishes, and planting style. This stage ensures the overall vision feels cohesive and aligned with you.

4. Detailed Design Package
Once the concept is approved, the design is developed into a comprehensive package including a master plan, technical drawings, and outline costings, ready for landscaping quotations.

5. Landscaping Quotations & Contractor Appointment
Detailed quotations are obtained from your chosen landscaper for all hard and soft landscaping works. A trusted professional landscaper is then instructed to carry out the build.

6. Planting Plan
A thoughtfully designed planting plan and full plant schedule are prepared, ensuring structure, seasonal interest, and long-term success.

7. Construction Phase
From start to completion, I remain closely involved, regularly visiting site to ensure the design is delivered to the highest standard.

8. Plant Sourcing & Installation
All trees and plants are carefully sourced from trusted nurseries. I oversee ordering, deliveries, and placement to ensure the planting complements the design beautifully.

9. Completion
With the final details in place, your garden is ready to be enjoyed.
